CM di Yogshala promotes wellness across Patiala

With the aim of promoting a healthier and disease-free lifestyle across Punjab, the state government’s flagship wellness initiative, “CM di Yogshala”, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is receiving an enthusiastic response in the district.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr Preeti Yadav shared that regular yoga sessions are being organised at various locations in the district during both morning and evening hours.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ashok Kumar informed that 18 yoga classes are currently being held regularly in Patran. These sessions are open to people of all age groups, including both men and women. He highlighted that the initiative is proving especially beneficial for individuals suffering from long-term ailments such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, fatigue, depression, and other lifestyle-related conditions.

“Yoga not only enhances physical health but also contributes significantly to mental peace and emotional well-being,” said the DC, adding, “Through CM di Yogshala, the city residents are adopting positive changes in their daily lives, and many are experiencing visible improvements in their health by actively participating in these classes.”
