Harshvardhan Rane Shares Video Of 'Fire Mishap' During Wrap Of 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat'

New Delhi: Actor Harshvardhan Rane recently wrapped up filming for his next romantic drama Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, and while the mood was celebratory, an unexpected incident turned the shoot wrap into a near-disaster. In an Instagram post on Thursday, the actor shared a video capturing a tense moment when a bunch of helium balloons suddenly caught fire on set. Thankfully, no one was injured in what Rane described as a “freak accident.”

The video shows the film's crew gathering to celebrate the successful completion of the shoot after five back-to-back night schedules. Just as the celebration was in full swing, a large cluster of helium balloons ignited. Actress Sonam Bajwa, who stars opposite Rane in the film, was also present during the mishap.

Recounting the moment in his caption, Rane wrote, "You know God is on your film’s side when a mishap doesn’t touch you. Thankfully, everyone was safe this morning after the crew wrapped up five consecutive night shoots. While we were celebrating the wrap of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, a huge bunch of helium balloons burst just 8–9 feet behind us! Accidents and hiccups kept their distance, as if guardian angels were watching over us. #FreakAccident but #SonOfGod.”
