Tensions between Israel and Iran have reached alarming levels, raising fears of a broader global conflict. Following ongoing hostilities with Palestine, Israel has now launched multiple airstrikes on Iranian territory. According to reports, Israeli fighter jets and nearly 200 drones targeted Iran’s nuclear sites in Isfahan and Fordow, destroying critical infrastructure including uranium enrichment facilities. The attack killed at least 104 people, including top Iranian military commanders, 20 senior officers, and two nuclear scientists. The Israeli military has claimed it successfully destroyed key air bases and nuclear research centers, crippling Iran’s strategic capabilities. In retaliation, Iran launched several drone strikes on Israel, targeting key urban areas including Jerusalem. While Israel claims to have intercepted many drones, damage and casualties were reported, with around 63 people injured. The Israeli military has named the operation "Rising Lion." Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Iranian people, urging them to oppose the Islamic regime and seize this opportunity for freedom, asserting that Israel’s conflict is with the regime—not the people. Meanwhile, the United Nations has appealed for restraint from both nations, warning against a deepening conflict. Despite calls for peace, drone attacks from both sides continue, threatening regional and potentially global stability.
