Vande Bharat Express Train: Bihar is going to get a new Vande Bharat Express train in the election year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off this semi high speed train this month. The new Vande Bharat Express with 16 coaches will run between Bihar’s capital Patna and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. Its route will be via Muzaffarpur, Bettiah. Passengers from various districts of North Bihar including Patna will benefit from this. Railways have started preparations for the operation of this train. Preparations are being made from Patna to Gorakhpur. There is a plan to virtually launch the new Vande Bharat from PM Modi’s proposed public meeting in Siwan on June 20.
According to reports, Vande Bharat train will be operated between Patna and Gorakhpur 6 days a week. Its maintenance will be done at Gorakhpur Junction railway station itself. This train will leave Gorakhpur in the morning and reach Patna. Then on the return, it will leave Patna in the evening and reach Gorakhpur at night. The distance from Patna to Gorakhpur is about 400 kilometers. Vande Bharat Express will complete this journey in just 5 hours. Passengers will get the facility of the fastest train on this route.
Possible route and time table of Patna-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat train
The official information about the timing and route of the proposed new Vande Bharat Express train between Patna and Gorakhpur will be released soon by the Railway Board. It is being told that this train will run from Patna via Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Bapudham Motihari, Bettiah and Narkatiaganj. According to the possible timing, this train will leave Gorakhpur at 6 am and reach Patna at 11 am. It will leave Patna at 3 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 8-9 pm.
With the start of this train, the connectivity of the capital Patna to North Bihar will also increase. Last month, East Central Railway prepared its proposed route and sent it to Northeast Railway. There was a plan to flag off this train in the recent programs of PM Narendra Modi in Bihar, but due to lack of approval from the Railway Board, its operation could not be started. Now efforts are being made to start this train from the Prime Minister’s Siwan rally on June 20.
