Israel recently conducted deadly airstrikes on Iran, which shook the world. The real mastermind behind the attack was Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad. Operation Lion Rising was Mossad’s plan, which was prepared two years ago. The purpose of the plan was to destroy Tehran’s nuclear power and to demolish its defence network, making its army leaderless. The preparations for this operation were so secret that Iran’s intelligence couldn’t get a hint of it.

Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad conducted three different covert operations in Iran. The first was to fail the defence network, second was to destroy the surface-to-air missiles and the third was to completely destroy the ballistic missiles. The Israeli agents fitted devices in the Iranian system. As a result, when Israeli fighter jets started the attack, Iran’s entire air defence system got jammed. The Iranian military could not even launch the missiles.

Mossad Overshadowed the Human Network

As per several reports, 20 top military commanders of Iran and 6 nuclear scientists were killed in the attack. . These included IRGC chief Hussein Salami, Army chief Mohammad Bagheri, Air Force chief Amir Ali Hajizadeh and Navy chief. Former head of Atomic Energy Organization Dr Fereydoun Abbasi and famous scientist Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi were also killed.

The purpose of Israel’s Mossad

The main aim of Mossad was to make the Iranian army leaderless and to destroy its nuclear establishment, so there will be no nuclear program. In order to accomplish the mission, Israeli gents destroyed the radar and missile system, but also killed the commanders in their homes through targeted drone attacks.

Following a recent attack, Iran’s response has been muted. While the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued threats, Iran’s capacity to retaliate appears to have been significantly hampered. Intelligence suggests that pre-emptive actions effectively neutralized Iran’s defence capabilities and ability to respond effectively.

The day before the operation, Netanyahu visited the Western Wall, a significant act interpreted as preparation for a major undertaking. Operation Lion Rising’s success demonstrated Mossad’s prowess not only in lethal operations, but also in strategic planning and cyber warfare.
