Amidst the exchange of fire between Israel and Iran, the Israeli Air Force on Saturday afternoon released visuals of its drones hitting surface-to-surface missile launchers in Iran. The videos showed targets bursting into a storm of flame and chaos after being hit by Israeli projectiles.

The 52-second video, captured by thermal cameras on a Forward Airborne Platform (FAP) drone, claimed that all the destroyed missile launchers were in a ready-to-launch state. However, the exact locations of the explosions were not revealed. Benjamin Netanyahu's government claimed to have struck over 150 targets since the beginning of the assault in the early hours of Friday. The offensive is being described as the country's biggest-ever air offensive against its longtime foe in a bid to prevent it from developing a nuclear weapon.

Media reports from Tel Aviv stated that the IDF said its units were still striking nuclear targets, scientists, military sites, and officials in Iran. Tehran launched around 200 ballistic missiles at Israel in several barrages since the previous night, the reports added. While those heading towards open areas were ignored, the majority of rockets targeting populated areas and military establishments were successfully intercepted by the IDF, The Times of Israel reported. However, a few missiles managed to evade the air defense systems and hit infrastructure in the Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and Rishon Lezion regions—causing casualties and damage.

Both sides vowed to continue the fight until the other was held accountable for their actions. The Islamic Republic has warned the United States, United Kingdom and France that their bases and ships in the region will be targeted if they help stop the strikes on Israel.
