Trump Warns 'Full Strength' Retaliation If Iran Attacks US

Donald Trump has warned that if Iran attacks, the US military will "come down with full force" as tensions in the Middle East escalate due to Tehran's fighting with Israel.

He reiterated Washington's stance that it is not involved in the war and warned allies not to help Israel stop Iran's retaliatory strikes. He also claimed to get a deal between Iran and Israel and stop the war.

"The U.S. had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

"If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before," Trump said. "However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!"

The cross-fire between Iran and Israel continued overnight into Sunday killing at least 10 Israelis including two children. Seven people are missing and emergency services are searching through the rubble of destroyed buildings.

Among those killed, six were in the city of Bat Yam, just south of Tel Aviv while four people died in the attacks on the northern Arab town of Tamra, according to emergency services and the local hospital, reported BBC.

Israel launched fresh strikes on Sunday morning saying its air forces "completed an extensive series of intelligence-based strikes on a number of targets in Tehran related to the Iranian regime's nuclear weapons project," according to AFP.

Iran also fired a fresh barrage of missiles at Israel, announced the state television. 'A new wave of Operation Honest Promise 3 began a few minutes ago,' reported Iranian state TV on Sunday morning.

Yemen's Houthi rebel group, backed by Iran, said they have launched a "military operation targeting sensitive targets of the Israeli enemy".

The attack on Israel in the past 24 hours was "coordinated" with Iran, a Houthi spokesperson said in a televised address on Sunday.
