'Requested safety belts': Man killed, woman injured after crane basket falls during terrace inspection in Udupi

In Ajjarkad, Udupi, a tragic accident occurred when a man, Francis, died, and a woman, Sharada, was seriously injured after falling from a crane basket. They were inspecting a terrace leak when the crane operator allegedly lost control, causing the basket to sway and a latch to fail. Police have registered a case for negligence.
