Raid 2 is the sequel to the 2018 film Raid. The sequel of the film features Ajay Devgn, Vaani Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh, among others. The film was released in theatres on May 1, 2025,  and received mixed reviews from critics. The film is based on the real-life income tax raid conducted by the Income Tax Department on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s, which is also known as one of the longest raids in Indian history. It is set to be released on OTT in June 2025.

According to reports, the much-awaited film is set to be released on Netflix, starting from June 27, 2025. Raid 2 revolves around the themes of tax evasion, corruption, and the pursuit of justice against powerful individuals

Raid 2 storyline

The movie centres around IRS agent Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn), who returns to investigate another white-collar crime case based on an actual income tax raid following the first film.

Cast and crew of Raid 2

In the second installment, Vanni Kapoor will be playing the female lead instead of Illeana D'Cruz. She will be seen alongside Ajay Devgn in the film. Ajay Devgn will reprise his role as Amay Patnaik, an Indian Revenue Service. Apart from this, Ritesh Deshmukh will also be seen in a pivotal role in the film.

Raj Kumar Gupta, who directed the first part of the film, also directs Raid 2. The script has been written by Ritesh Shah, Jaideep Yadav, Karan Vyas, and Raj Kumar Gupta. The film is bankrolled by Abhishek Pathak, Pragya Singh, Krishan Kumar, Gaurav Nanda, Bhushan Kumar, and Kumar Mangat Pathak under Panorama Studios and T-Series banners.
