Iran-Israel war: This Iranian missile has penetrated an air defense system more powerful than India’s S-400, its name is…,secret is…

Iran vs Israel war: During the recent Iran-Israel war, Iran has gathered headlines after it penetrated the much-talked about Iron Dome air defence system of Israel. During the recent course of war, Iran attacked Israel with its advanced Fattah‑1 hypersonic missile and while Israel’s multi-tiered air-defense shield (comprising Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow systems) successfully intercepted majority of the missiles, several missiles penetrated the air defense of Israel and struck areas in Tel Aviv, causing massive devastation.

Iran’s Fattah‑1 missile

For a background, Iran’s Fattah‑1 missile is capable of hitting a target at a range of around 1,400 km speeding up to Mach 13–15. The missile is designed to evade existing air-defenses, as it can attack the target at a very low altitude, evading the radars of enemy countries.

Iran’s Fattah‑1 missile is being praised across the world for its recent strike as it has reportedly penetrated the Iron Dome air defence of Israel, which was an inspiration for many countries including USA, which is building Golden Dome system, under the leadership of US President Trump.

Iran launches new wave of attacks on Israel in response to Israeli airstrikes

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a “large-scale combined offensive operation” against Israel, involving a significant number of missiles and drones. The IRGC’s aerospace division carried out the attack on late Saturday night, stating it was in response to Israel’s “repeated aggressions” against Iran, according to the IRGC’s official news outlet Sepah News.

In Israel, a rocket struck a residential building in a northern community, killing one woman and injuring 13 others, according to Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency medical service. Several others sustained moderate to light injuries, and four individuals were treated for anxiety, MDA said.
The Israeli military said that its air defence systems were actively intercepting incoming projectiles, while Israeli air force units were carrying out strikes on military targets in Tehran.
