'Jamai Commission': Tejashwi Yadav Targets CM Nitish Kumar After NDA Leaders’ Sons-In-law Get Prime Positions

Patna: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday took a dig at chief minister Nitish Kumar for giving prime positions to sons-in-law of NDA leaders in a state`s Commission, alleging that Nitish should constitute a 'dedicated Jamai Commission’ so that all sons-in-law could be adjusted in it.

Late Ram Vilas Paswan`s son-in-law (brother-in-law of union minister Chirag Paswan), Jitan Ram Manjhi’s son-in-law and son-in-law of JD (U) leader and minister Ashok Choudhary have been given prominent positions in the Commission, he stated while speaking to newspersons at the state RJD headquarters.

Tejashwi commented on ‘X’, “Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is running Bihar in an unconscious state, and the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is a promoter of nepotism, along with the allies of NDA, have formed the “Jamai Commission” in Bihar, in which the son-in-law of late Ram Vilas Paswan Ji, the son-in-law of union minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and the son-in-law of minister Ashok Chaudhary have been given place. For your information, let us tell you that in Nitish's cabinet, more than 50 percent of ministers including the deputy chief minister are products of dynastic politics.”

Without naming a retired IAS officer, RJD leader said that ‘DK Boss's wife had been made a member of the Bihar Women's Commission, but she did not write her husband's name and instead had written her father's name.

“Somewhere an attempt was made to hide her husband's name as she is being secretly fed cream. We were given lessons on dynastic politics, but what is happening in this government?,” he asked.

“How many officers' wives have been given government jobs, how many officers' children are pursuing education abroad? How many officers' children are serving in departments in Bihar by forming their consultancy firms? How many officers have invested in land or abroad?,” he attacked the government through his posers.
