ICC Women's World Cup: India To Face Pakistan On October 5 In Colombo As Schedule Unveiled For 8-Team Tournament

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the complete schedule for the ICC Women's 50-over World Cup. Co-hosts India will be in action on day one of the tournament, facing their Asian counterparts Sri Lanka on September 30, 2025 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Five cities in Bengaluru, Vizag, Indore, Guwahati and Colombo have been scheduled to host the tournament. With the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) refusing to send its team to India, Colombo will be the venue for the fixture against India set to take place on October 5th. Defending champions Australia will open their campaign against their Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand in Indore on October 1.

Bengaluru will host the second semi-final on October 30. Guwahati or Colombo will stage the first on the 29th. Colombo/Benglauru will be the venue for the final on November 2.
