Major Fire Breaks Out In Noida Sector 3 Commercial Building
A fire broke out at the CTA Garment factory in Noida’s Sector 3 on Monday afternoon, sparking panic among workers and nearby establishments. The incident occurred around 2:55 PM in the factory’s washing department.
Fire derupts in Noida Sector 3
According to Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Chaubey, the fire was caused by a malfunction in a solar panel installed at the facility. As smoke quickly engulfed the top floor of the building, employees evacuated the premises as a precaution.
The fire department responded swiftly to the emergency. Three fire engines and a hydraulic vehicle were deployed to the scene, and the flames were brought under control shortly after. No injuries or casualties were reported.

Fire at Noida’s Sumitra hospital
Last week, a fire broke out at Sumitra Hospital in Noida’s Sector 24 on Friday, triggering panic among patients and staff. The blaze reportedly began around the ground-floor record room due to a suspected short circuit, according to Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Chaubey.
While there were no major injuries or casualties, two attendants suffered minor injuries while trying to escape through a window. Both were treated on the spot.
Firefighters managed to bring the flames under control within an hour. Although the fire was contained to the ground floor, smoke quickly spread to the upper levels, prompting a precautionary evacuation of patients from the first and second floors. The third floor remained unaffected.
