Pushkar Singh Dhami government seeks over Rs 8,800 crore for energy, housing projects from centre

Uttarakhand government has requested over Rs 8,800 crore from the Centre for infrastructure and housing projects. Chief Minister Dhami sought funds for hydroelectric and pump storage projects to boost energy production. He also requested funds for transmission projects and undergrounding electricity lines in the Haridwar-Rishikesh area.
