OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE 5, And OnePlus Buds 4 To Launch In India On July 8

OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE 5, and OnePlus Buds 4 will launch in India on July 8, the company has confirmed. Calling it the Summer Launch Event, it will begin at 2pm IST. OnePlus has even confirmed that the Nord 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile SoC with 4nm architecture and flagship Kryo CPU and LPDDR5X RAM. OnePlus Buds 4 will come in two colour options and a few of its features have also been unveiled ahead of launch.

OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE 5 features

In a press release, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE 5, and the OnePlus Buds 4 will be available in India on Amazon and OnePlus websites. The launch event will take place on July 8 at 2pm IST. The teaser image reveals that the OnePlus Nord 5 camera module will see a design refresh from its predecessor which had a horizontal architecture. The OnePlus Nord 5 is likely to adapt the capsule-like rear camera module. The Nord CE 5 may sport a similar module but with watered down specifications. The two phones are seen in a light blue and white variant, respectively. OnePlus is yet to announce official colour options.

OnePlus confirms that the Nord 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor that offers support for Snapdragon Elite Gaming. The smartphone will power Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) at a native 90fps, with frame interpolation boosting performance up to 144fps. Additionally, the OnePlus Nord 5 will run Call of Duty Mobile natively at native 144fps.

To handle heavy gaming, the Nord 5 features Cryo-Velocity VC cooling with 7,300 mm heat dissipation surface area and flagship-grade graphene thermals identical to OnePlus 13.

OnePlus Buds 4 features

Coming to the OnePlus Buds 4, the new earbuds are teased to adopt the same design language as the OnePlus Nord Buds 3. It is confirmed to offer Dual Drivers, Dual DACs, Hi-Res LHDC 5.0 and 3D Audio. There will be a Game Mode, which will let the earbuds offer 47ms ultra-low latency. Lastly, the OnePlus Buds 4 will launch in two colour options - Zen Green and Storm Gray.

OnePlus says that it will keep teasing more features of the OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE 5, and OnePlus Buds 4 in the coming weeks running up to the launch.
