The Raja Saab Teaser: From 'Vintage Darling Is Back' To 'Nothing New', Prabhas Starrer Gets A Mixed Response From Netizens

The Raja Saab starring Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Nidhi Agerwal, and Malavika Mohanan is all set to release on December 5, 2025. The teaser of the film was released on Monday, June 16, 2025, with a lot of fanfare at an event in Hyderabad. However, it is getting a mixed response from netizens. While some are loving it, some feel that the movie has nothing new to offer.

A netizen tweeted, "Teaser brings back the vintage #Prabhas we missed. Easily his best look since Baahubali. Interesting Screenplay, Thaman’s music hits well. Just hoping the VFX gets polished & Hindi dialogues don’t sound off-tone. 5 months left, make it tighter (sic)."

Another X user wrote, "Nothing new... Just ok ok." One more netizen tweeted, "Just watched The Raja Saab teaser and it's mixed feelings. Definitely props to Prabhas for exploring this genre but the visuals, the bluish night scenes all look a little fake. Prabhas screen presence is great but the dialogues are okayish." Check out the tweets below...

The Raja Saab is one of the most awaited films of the year. While it is a Telugu film, it will be dubbed and released in various languages, including Hindi. Fans of Prabhas are super excited to watch him in a horror-comedy, and of course, they are loving the teaser. However, the teaser of The Raja Saab has overall failed to impress.

Maruthi On The Raja Saab

A few days ago, while talking about the movie at a beach festival in Machilipatnam, Maruthi said, “I want my work to do the talking; hence, I refrained from talking all the while. There’s no doubt that I will deliver more than what you fans are expecting from me and Prabhas. I have seen the kind of love you are showering on Prabhas; you will also get to see my side of love — how much he means to me in the teaser."

Prabhas In Kannapaa

While of course fans of Prabhas are waiting for The Raja Saab, on June 27, 2025, they will get to watch their favourite star in Kannappa in which he has a cameo. The movie stars Vishnu Manchu in the lead role.
