8 Steps to Become a Successful Pilot
1. To be qualified for pilot training, you must have Physics and Math in Class 12 with at least 50% marks.
2. Get medical examinations approved by DGCA to make sure you satisfy visual and physical requirements for a pilot license.
3. To begin your pilot training, choose a flying academy approved by DGCA either in India or outside.
4. Certain institutions use an entrance exam to evaluate your aptitude for flying and decision-making ability.
5. You will get an SPL to start practical flying after passing the first exam.
6. Under supervision, log 40 to 60 hours of flying experience to acquire your PPL—that first serious step toward an aviation profession.
7. To get your CPL, fly for over 200+ hours passing DGCA tests in Air Regulations, Meteorology, and Navigation.
8. Once licensed, you may apply to airlines or go type-rating training to operate particular commercial aircraft.
