One show that has been making headlines for the past few weeks is Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi season 2. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the show, and it will mark the acting comeback of actress-turned-politician Smriti Irani. Amar Upadhyay will return as Mihir Virani, and Smriti will reprise her role of Tulsi. Recently, in an interview with Times Of India, Amar opened up about meeting Smriti after so many years and reuniting with her for the show.

He stated, “When I met her at Ekta Kapoor’s house, it felt like no time had passed. We were just the same. She joked, ‘Tu boodha kab hoga?’ and I said, ‘Abhi time hai’ (laughs). She’s always been grounded, and that hasn’t changed one bit. Our interaction was exactly how it used to be 25 years ago.”

In season one of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Mihir's character dies after a few episodes. But, due to the public demand, Amar had made a re-entry in the show. However, after the show took a leap, he left it. But, this time he says, “Mihir is here to stay – right till the final episode.”

There have been multiple reports about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi season 2. Some reports stated that new actors will be seen as leads, and the actors who were there in the first season will have a cameo. However, now, Amar has revealed that Mihir will be there till the final episode.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2 Release Date

The makers have not yet announced the show officially, but a report claimed that Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi season 2 will start airing on Star Plus on July 3, 2025. Interestingly, in 2000, the first season had also premiered on Juny 3. However, there's no official confirmation about it.
