Patna-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express: In a massive good news for the residents of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to virtually flag off a new Vande Bharat Express between Patna and Gorakhpur ahead of the election season on June 20 from Siwan. As per media reports, Bihar is going to get a new Vande Bharat Express which will a 16-coach semi-high-speed train running six days a week, helping the passengers commute between the two famous cities of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

The media report also says that the new Patna-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express will be pass through important stations like Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Bapudham Motihari, Bettiah, and Narkatiaganj, covering 400 km distance in just 5 hours.
Patna-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express: Timetable
Although no official confirmation has been made, as per a report by Prabhat Khabar, the new Patna-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express is expected to start from Gorakhpur at 6 AM and returning from Patna at 3 PM, before returning to its original station.
New Vande Bharat train between Srinagar and Katra begins operations
In another significant update on new Vande Bharat trains, Northern Railways has started commercial operation of the Vande Bharat train service between Srinagar city and Katra town of Jammu and Kashmir. A report by IANS news agency has quoted officials as saying that the commercial operations of the Vande Bharat train, which was flagged off on June 6 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, started on Saturday. Readers must note that the train service connects Katra town of Reasi district with Kashmir Valley.
The agency report also said that the train service will operate from Jammu to the Valley in September this year after the expansion work at the Jammu railway station is completed.
State-of-the-art Vande Bharat train
As per the agency report, the state-of-the-art Vande Bharat train has been built to suit the extremes of temperature and vagaries of weather in the region. The trains are air-conditioned and centrally heated, along with cabins have charging points, a comfortable seating arrangement, a facility for food for the passengers, and defrosting technology for the driver’s windshield are some of the special features of this train.
