Iran-Israel war: After the recent escalation in the Iran-Israel war, the world has got divided into two blocks, one supporting the Islamic Republic of Iran led by Supreme leader Ali Khamenei and the other standing firmly with Israel led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Various Muslim countries like Turkey, Saudi Arabia and UAE have expressed their strong opinions on the recent conflict between Iran and Israel but what have they said. Here is a list of Muslim countries from across the world with their respective stands on the Iran-Israel war along with the statements that they have given.

Turkey’s stance on Iran-Israel war

Turkey has come in support of Iran and has called on Israel to “immediately halt aggressive actions that could lead to greater conflicts”.

Saudi Arabia comes in support of Iran

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also came in Iran’s support and said, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the blatant Israeli aggressions against the brotherly Islamic Republic of Iran, which undermine its sovereignty and security and constitute a clear violation of international laws and norms.”

Pakistan comes in support of Iran

“In this time of trial, we stand by Iran in every way. We will protect Iranian interests. Iranians are our brothers, and their grief and pain are shared,” Pakistan’s defence minister, Khawaja Asif said while supporting Iran.

Egyptian President urges end to Israeli strikes

The Egyptian presidency has said in a statement that Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi has voiced rejection of any expansion of the ongoing regional conflict, stressing the urgent need to halt Israeli military operations “on all regional fronts”.

UAE’s opposition to Israeli attack

The United Arab Emirates also came in Iran’s support and said that it strongly condemned the Israeli attacks.

“The UAE calls for the utmost self-restraint and wise judgment to prevent the conflict from expanding”, UAE has said.

Iran plans to leave nuclear treaty amid escalating conflict with Israel

Amid intensifying hostilities with Israel, Iran on Monday announced that its Parliament is drafting legislation to withdraw from the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) of Nuclear Weapons, raising global concerns about the future of nuclear stability in the region. The proposed move was announced alongside a statement from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who reiterated Tehran’s stance that it has no plans to develop nuclear weapons.
