Vote for serious party, serious candidate: Capt Amarinder
Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today urged the people of Ludhiana West to ensure they vote for a serious party and a serious candidate, as the three years of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) rule had ‘destroyed’ the state. He said the state’s people could not afford such misrule anymore.
Through a press statement released here today, Capt Amarinder urged people to vote wisely and carefully, keeping theirs and the state’s future in mind. He hoped that Ludhiana West would show the correct direction to the whole state by taking the first step towards throwing the AAP out and voting for BJP candidate Jiwan Gupta.
He said the last three years had only seen lies and claims of work being done, while no real work was happening on the ground. He noted that the people of Ludhiana West owed it to the people of Punjab to convey a strong message that Punjabis disapproved of what the AAP government
had done during the past three years.
