Video: Woman Breaks Down In Tears While Narrating Harrowing Turbulence Incident On IndiGo Flight That Left Passengers Screaming

Alhamra Khan (Jolly), a journalist, has shared a harrowing account of her experience aboard IndiGo flight 6E 6811 from Goa to Lucknow on Monday. The flight, carrying over 170 passengers, encountered severe turbulence, leaving travellers shaken and fearful for their safety.

In a video recorded after the incident, an emotional Alhamra broke down while describing the terrifying moments mid-air. "I am devastated and in great shock. I just wish to reach my people safely," she said, her voice trembling.

A second video, captured after the plane landed in Lucknow, captured her recounting the ordeal in greater detail. "Shortly after takeoff, the plane went upside down. What we went through must have been similar to what the victims of the Ahmedabad Air India crash experienced," she said, referring to the recent tragedy that claimed 241 lives.

Alhamra claimed that all 172 passengers on board were gripped by fear, praying fervently for a safe landing. She questioned whether the incident was due to a manual error or technical malfunction and expressed frustration over the lack of communication from the crew. "They called it weather turbulence, but that didn’t seem to be the case," she added.

Her video sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some users criticised her for spreading panic in the wake of the Ahmedabad crash, others expressed relief that the flight had landed safely.

IndiGo has yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident. Passengers, however, remain deeply unsettled by the experience, with many calling for greater transparency from airlines in such situations.
