Citroen C3 Sport Edition- Is It Worth A Buy Against Other Hatchbacks?
The C3 is a fun to drive hatchback which comes with a 1.2 litre turbo petrol while you can get a naturally aspirated unit as well. To spice up the looks, there is the new Sport edition. It does look better and comes with a decal on the bumper, bonnet and roof. It does give rally car vibes while there is a new Garnet Red colour too. Inside, there is ambient lighting, sport seat cover, sportier pedals and different carpet and Seatbelt Cushions.

The interior looks much better with the ambient lighting and the sportier bits added in. Optionally you can spec a dashcam and wireless charger. The Sport limited edition comes at Rs 21,000 extra and the tech kit adds in 15,000 Rs extra. There is a 1.2l turbo petrol which comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic rather than an AMT. Citroen claims 0-100 km/h in 10 seconds. The turbo automatic is just around Rs 10 lakh plus.

For the money, it is a fast hatchback with a proper automatic and a good amount of power although some features for this price are missing. That said, the quick C3 Turbo especially looks more desirable with the Sport edition kit and is a hot hatch of sorts with a good amount of power. Compared to rivals, the C3 Turbo is about performance and the automatic which stands out while more versions like these are a good idea to cater to the enthusiasts.
