Mumbai was placed on high alert over the weekend following bomb threats sent to the U.S. Consulate and two international schools Kanakia International School in Govandi and Ryan International School in Kandivali East. The threats, received via email on Saturday, warned of bomb blasts scheduled for Monday, the first day of the academic year 2025–26.
