'Air'mergency From Ahmedabad To Uttarakhand
Air India cancelled six international flights - all using the 787-8 Dreamliner - Tuesday amid increased scrutiny of Boeing's flagship aircraft after the horrific crash last week in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, led by JDU MP Sanjay Jha, will also look into deep-rooted lapses in India's aviation ecosystem. The Ahmedabad plane crash has also prompted an investigation into pilot training and safety compliance by the DGCA.
