Lighting Strikes Two Farmers Taking Shelter From Rain Under Tree In MP’s Bhind, Both Dead
Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): Three people died and one sustained burns due to lightning in Bhind on Tuesday in 2 different incidents. First incident was reported from Indurkhi village of Raun, where three farmers were working in the field and it started raining at night. They stood under a Sheesham tree for shelte, and unfortunately lightning struck them.
Two of them died on spot and one person sustained severe burns. Deceased men have been identified as Vidyaram Batham and Aashiq Khan. Seriously burnt Sevaram Batham referred to Gwalior.
The bodies of both the deceased have been kept in Raun post-mortem house.
According to information the farmers were getting the field plowed with a tractor. They were sitting under the tree to avoid rain. Lightning struck with a loud noise. All three fell unconscious.
After about half an hour, Sevaram regained consciousness. He informed the family. The family members reached the field and took everyone to the community health center. Where the doctor declared Vidyaram and Aashiq dead. Sevaram's treatment is going on.
18-year-old died due to lightning
In another incident 18-year-old Anurag Yadav also died due to lightning in Kachanavkalan of Gormi police station area. Anurag was gathering moong crop in the field, when lightning struck him.
The family called ambulance but the ambulance arrived late and the family brought Anurag to the hospital in a private vehicle. From there he was referred to Gwalior, where the doctor declared him dead in Birla Hospital.
On the other hand, drizzle started in Bhind city on Tuesday night. Power supply stopped with the rain. Power was out in many parts of the city. Gwalior Chambal region has been experiencing heavy storm, rain and lightning for the last two days, the weather has completely changed in the region.
