Salman Khan used to pull Shah Rukh Khan’s leg because.., would make fun of him with entire set when…
In the world of Bollywood, the stardom of two superstars remains unmatched and untouched. Their presence on the screen creates a magic like no one else, and their starring in a film promises a massive box office collection. While many new generation stars have come and gone, nobody could touch what they have created on screen. They are not just impeccable actors but an era, or probably “last of the stars.”
Yes, we are talking about Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, often referred to as Karan-Arjun together. Long before these two stars created a ruckus at the box office and earned this major stardom, they went through their fair share of struggles and challenges that later shaped them into who they are today.
In an exclusive interview recalling behind-the-scenes moments from Karan Arjun that featured Shah Rukh and Salman Khan, Johnny Lever shared some funny anecdotes. He revealed that back in the day, Shah Rukh Khan wasn’t a great dancer or fighter. He would often take multiple retakes to complete an action sequence. Whereas Salman Khan, on the other hand, would wrap up the shoot in a single take.
Because of this contrast, there would often be funny banter between the two, and Salman Khan would often make fun of Shah Rukh Khan. “Salman used to pull Shah Rukh’s leg over his dancing and fighting skills,” Johnny said. “He would often make fun of him in a lighthearted way, along with others on set.”
However, instead of getting offended or taking it personally, Shah Rukh Khan took this criticism sportingly. He took it as a challenge and worked on his skills. “He began practising constantly, wherever he got the chance. Over time, his dance and action skills improved so much that people stopped joking and started applauding his dedication.” Johnny said.
Johny also revealed that this banter between the two was an integral part of their beautiful friendship, but besides that, they also shared a deep and friendly bond.
This tale of Shah Rukh Khan reminds us that one is not born perfect, but with enough dedication, hard work, and effort, one can definitely reach there.
