MP Rajabhau Waje Pushes Metro And Flyover Projects Forward; Mahametro To Visit Nashik On June 23
Nashik MP Rajabhau Waje travelled on the Pune Metro and interacted with the passengers. During this time, he praised the punctuality and cleanliness of the Metro. He also studied the impact of the Metro on the development of the city and the lives of the citizens. Now, on the same lines, the Metro project in Nashik will gain momentum, and Mahametro officials will visit Nashik on Monday (June 23). Similarly, Mahametro has approved the Dwarka to Nashik Road flyover project.
The Nashik Road to Dwarka flyover project, which is important for Nashikars, is now going to gain momentum. The stalled path has been cleared with the 'No Objection' certificate given by Mahametro to this project. This decision has been possible due to the follow-up of MP Rajabhau Waje.
“Mahametro's approval was necessary for this project, because the Metro will run on this route. The design of the flyover has to be compatible with the double-decker metro line, so it was necessary to get permission from Mahametro” said Waje. In this regard, MP Waje met Mahametro's Managing Director Shravan Hardikar in Pune and had a positive discussion.
Metro project also promoted
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was also held on the Nashik Metro project. Hardikar said that the 'articulated bus metro' proposed for Nashik will be a modern system. He mentioned that Mahametro is insistent that the metro project in Nashik should come to fruition as soon as possible.
Important meeting
After this discussion, Mahametro has decided to hold a special meeting in Nashik on Monday (June 23) and the proposed metro line will also be inspected.
For the past few years, both these projects in Nashik had been stalled due to administrative difficulties and lack of coordination. However, MP Waje said that this time, they are trying to get these projects on track by following up objectively. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has also expressed positivity on this project, and both projects will be implemented soon, explained MP Rajabhau Waje.
