Petra Kvitova returns to Wimbledon; awarded wild card; only non-British player selected

Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova received a wild card for the 2025 tournament, marking her return after maternity leave. The Czech star, ranked 572nd, last played in 2023. Alongside Kvitova, several British players, including Heather Watson and Dan Evans, also get wild cards. Qualifying begins June 23, with the main draw starting June 30.
