Ujjain: CM Mohan Yadav To Inaugurate National Workshop On Astronomy On June 21
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief minister Mohan Yadav will inaugurate national workshop on astronomy and ancient Indian knowledge in Ujjain on June 21. The workshop will be organised at Varahmir Astronomy Vedhshala, Dongla.
Renowned scientists and educationalists will participate in the workshop in which different activities will be organised. Yoga camp, zero shadow analysis, science show, state workshop will be organised.
A discussion will be held on ancient Indian knowledge and modern science. An effort will be made to connect ancient Indian traditions with modern science.
Through the medium of shanku yantra, CM will observe zero shadow at Dr Vishnu Shridhar Wakankar Vedhshala.
The name of prominent person’s attending the workshop includes Vigyan Bharti’s national organisation general secretary Dr Shivkumar Sharma, national convener of Bharatiya Gyan Pranali (GoI, New Delhi) Professor Ganti S Murthy, director of Rashtriya Navpravartan Pratishthan (Gandhi Nagar) Dr Brajesh Pandey.
The workshop is being jointly organised by Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Council (Bhopal), Vigyan Bharti, Acharya Varahmir Nyas Ujjain, IIT Indore, Vikram University (Ujjain), Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy (Bhopal) and Veer Bharat Nyas.
2-day online training for Yoga Day from today
The state government has issued instructions to all the district collectors to observe 11th International Day of Yoga Day on June 21.
The speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Mohan Yadav will be broadcast live in all the villages and wards of the state on June 21. The programme will be organised from 6 am to 7.45 am.
A training module has been prepared by AYUSH department to train the yoga instructors and volunteers in all the districts, through which online training will be held on June 19 and 20, the link of which will be sent by AYUSH department.
