Twin road mishaps claim 3 lives, injures 10 in Afghanistan’s Jawzjan
KABUL, June 19: Three commuters lost their lives, and 10 others sustained injuries in twin road accidents in northern Afghanistan’s Jawzjan province on Wednesday, said a statement of the provincial police office on Thursday.
In the first accident, an infant was killed and two others were injured as a car collided with a motorbike on Jawzjan highway, while minutes later, two cars collided, leaving two dead on the spot and injuring eight others, the statement said, without providing more details.
Blaming reckless driving for the deadly mishaps, the statement called upon motorists to respect traffic laws and save the lives of travellers.
A similar accident left two dead and injured nine others in eastern Ghazni province on Sunday. (UNI)
