Metro Timing Change: The 11th International Yoga Day will be celebrated on Saturday, June 21. On this occasion, Delhi Metro (DMRC) has made a big change in the timing to facilitate the movement of people. On Saturday, the metro will run on the tracks from 4 am, not 6 am. This order will be applicable to all the lines of Delhi Metro. However, another big update in this is that on this day the gap between one metro and another metro will be a little more. In such a situation, you should leave the house keeping this in mind.
Know what Delhi Metro told
DMRC posted on social media platform X that to facilitate the movement of yoga enthusiasts on the occasion of International Yoga Day, 2025, Delhi Metro services will start from 4 am on 21 June 2025 (Saturday) from all originating stations. As per the daily timetable, services will be available at an interval of 30 minutes on all lines from 4 am till the start of passenger services.
This year the 11th Yoga Day will be celebrated
Let us tell you that every year International Yoga Day will be celebrated on 21st June. Every year India represents International Yoga Day among all the countries of the world. The credit for starting this day goes to PM Narendra Modi government. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had proposed to celebrate Yoga Day during his speech in the UN on 27 September 2014. This proposal was accepted by the United Nations General Assembly and approved on 11 December 2014. After this, the first International Yoga Day was celebrated for the first time on 21 June 2015.
This year the country will celebrate the 11th International Yoga Day. Every year a theme is set for Yoga Day. This year’s theme is ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’. This theme shows that our health and the health of the earth are interconnected. For the past 10 years, PM Narendra Modi has been continuously participating in the Yoga Day program. He will celebrate the 11th Yoga Day in Visakhapatnam.
