There will be heavy to very heavy rains in Northeast India during the next three days. After that there is a warning of heavy rain at some places during the next four days.
Talking about eastern and central India, heavy to extremely heavy rains are likely to continue at some places in Madhya Pradesh till June 21-27. Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar till 21-24 June, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 21-22 June, Jharkhand on 22, 24 and 25 June, Odisha on 24 and 25 June, Gangetic West Bengal from 22 June and 24 June to 26 June, Vidarbha from 24-27 June, Heavy rain at some places in Chhattisgarh from 21 June and 24 to 27 June, along with heavy rain warning has been issued in Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 22 June. At the same time, thunderstorms and strong winds are expected at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha till 21-27 June.
Talking about North West India, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan from 21 to 27 June, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh from 21 to 26 June, Uttar Pradesh from 21-24 June, Western Rajasthan on 21 June. At the same time, there is a possibility of extremely heavy rain in Eastern Rajasthan from 21-23 June, South Haryana, Punjab on 22 June, Uttar Pradesh on 22-23 June, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from 22-25 June. At the same time, light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds at a speed of 30-40 kmph are expected at most places in North West India from 21-27 June. Heavy rain in many places in Rajasthan
Due to the activity of Southwest Monsoon, heavy rain is occurring in many areas of Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall of 165 mm was recorded in Niwai of Tonk in the last 24 hours. According to the department, during the 24 hours before 8:30 am on Saturday, it rained at most places in eastern Rajasthan, and it rained at many places in western Rajasthan as well. The department said that during this period, the highest rainfall was 165 mm in Niwai (Tonk), apart from this, 153 mm rain was recorded in Chaksu of Jaipur, 139 mm in Chauth ka Barwara of Sawai Madhopur, 119 mm in Sikrai of Dausa, 116 mm in Bundi, 115 mm in Kota.
