PUNE SHOCKER! Family Horrified After Finding Human Finger In Laddus Bought From Local Sweet Shop
In a shocking incident in Pune's Ambegaon taluka, a human thumb was found inside a laddu purchased from a sweet shop in Dimbhe, causing panic in the area and raising serious concerns about food safety in the regions.
Sakal reported the incident came to light when the family of Ramchandra Potkule, a resident of Gohe Budruk, brought laddus from a local outlet. While eating the sweets at home, the family was horrified to discover a human finger (thumb) inside one of the laddus.
Following the incident, some family members experienced vomiting and diarrhea and were admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
Initial investigations suggest that the thumb might have accidentally gotten mixed into the batter during preparation, possibly due to an accident involving a hotel employee and a machine used in laddu-making.
Authorities are expected to launch a full investigation into the matter. The incident has left locals in shock, with many demanding strict action and better hygiene standards at food establishments in the area.
