ENG vs IND: 'Batting Ka Graph ECG Ki Tarah Hai', Says Sanjay Manjrekar About Rishabh Pant's Aggressive Shot On Day 4 In Leeds; Video
Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar had an interesting take on Rishabh Pant's aggressive shot on day four of the first Test against England at the Headingley in Leeds. Manjrekar stated that the left-hander's batting pattern is like ECG graph as it produces a spike after suddenly flat lining.
The moment occurred in the 32nd over of the innings as Pant danced down the track to a length delivery from Chris Woakes. The southpaw belted a shot down the ground and Woakes barely had any chance of stopping the ball despite getting his hand down to prevent it from going to the boundary.
Watch the below video from Star Sports as Manjrekar said on air:
"Inka batting ka graph hai na thoda ECG ki tarah hai. Dot ball, dot ball, flatlining hoti hai aur suddenly ek spike aata hai."
