New Delhi: In the ongoing war against America and Israel, Iran has now received open support from another country from the Middle East. Yemen has officially announced its joining this war. Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree made the announcement through a social media post. With this announcement, the fear of a third world war has increased further.

Yemen has now officially joined the war that started between Iran and Israel on June 13. Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said, “Yemen has now officially entered the war against America and Israel. Keep your ships away from our maritime border.”

Yemen is furious with US attacks on Iran

This statement of the Yemen Army has come after the US air strikes on Iran. Recently, the US Army has brought the war to a new level by targeting Iran’s nuclear bases Fordo, Isfahan and Natanz under ‘Operation Mid-Night Hammer’. Apart from this, the Israeli army also carried out an air strike on the Fordo nuclear site on Monday, June 23.

Big challenge for US and Israel

A statement from the Yemen Army said, “With US support, Israel is conspiring to destabilize the entire region. We stand against this and warn that disregarding our territorial waters will prove dangerous.” On Saturday, June 21 the Yemeni Armed Forces issued an official military statement condemning the Israeli attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and other Arab and Islamic countries.

This development has further fuelled the already ongoing tension in West Asia. Yemen’s formal entry into the war can become a new challenge for the US and Israel, especially at a time when Israel is simultaneously fighting against Hamas in Gaza, Lebanon and now directly against Iran.
