Railway Notification: Before the redevelopment work starts at New Delhi Railway Station, a plan has been prepared to shift trains from here. In the first phase, Northern Railway has announced to shift 6 trains to Anand Vihar, Old Delhi Railway Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station from the coming July and August. These trains will run from new stations and end their journey there. Their operating time and date have also been decided. If sources are to be believed, more than two dozen trains can be shifted from New Delhi Station in the coming days.
Approval received from Railway Board
According to the information, the names of half a dozen trains were sent by the Delhi Division of Northern Railway to the Railway Board for shifting them to other stations. Last Friday, the Railway Board approved it and directed Northern Railway to fix the date of their shifting.
