Prime Video announces Season 3 of 'The Family Man' with Manoj Bajpayee returning as Srikant Tiwari

Prime Video has announced the third season of The Family Man with an official teaser poster with masked men pointing machines guns at a cutout of Manoj Bajpayee. However, no date or release window has been announced yet.

While sharing the poster on their social media handles, the streamer captioned: "All eyes on our family men. #TheFamilyManOnPrime, New Season, Coming Soon."

The new season, once again, comes from creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, known informally as Raj & DK, who also co-wrote it with Suman Kumar. Returning cast members, aside from Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, also include Priyamani as his wife, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha.

Other cast members include Sundeep Kishan, Jugal Hansraj, Gul Panag, Shreya Dhanwantary, Darshan Kumar, Dalip Tahil, Seema Biswas, Vipin Kumar Sharma, and Harman Singha.

The first season, comprising 10 episodes, premiered in 2019 and the second, with 9 episodes, streamed in 2021. As in the previous two seasons, Srikant will deal with a new threat in the upcoming season, with new addition to the cast.

There were reports of Jaideep Ahlawat being part of the cast, however, his name was not mentioned in the list of names tagged below the poster. In Season 2, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was the high profile addition.

The official logline goes, "As Srikant races against time, the stakes escalate as he needs to outmaneuver a formidable adversary and protect his country and its sovereignty."

Raj & DK is also known for the thriller shows Farzi and Guns & Gulaabs.
