Iran Israel war: Iran makes shocking claim, says US President Trump begged for….
Tehran: In a dramatic turn on the 12th day of the Iran-Israel conflict, a complete ceasefire has been declared. United States President Donald Trump said that a ceasefire had been agreed upon between Tehran and Tel Aviv. However, the barrage of missiles from both nations continues to create havoc in their major cities. Iran responded to Trump’s statement, firmly denying any such deal or agreement regarding a ceasefire. The Middle Eastern country fired three missiles in succession this morning, killing three Israeli citizens. As per reports, a top Iranian nuclear scientist lost his life in the Israeli attack.
The IDF in its statement, stated that after assessing the situation, the Home Front Command allowed Israeli citizens to evacuate to safe locations. The Israeli Army stated that search and rescue operations are underway in several locations where Iranian projectiles have been reported.
Iranian Scientist Killed In Israeli Attack
Amid all this, Iran’s English channel Press TV reported the death of Sedighi Sabar, one of the country’s top nuclear scientists. He died in an Israeli attack in Tehran. So far, 10 scientists of Iran were killed in Israel attacks. According to Press TV, Sabar was attacked near the main streets of Ferdowsi and Vali Asar in the downtown area in Tehran.
It is noteworthy that several Iranian nuclear scientists have been targeted by Israeli attacks since the beginning of the conflict on June 13.
Meanwhile, Israel alerted its people to take shelter in bunkers as Iran continues to fire missiles at major Israeli cities.
Donald Trump Begged For Ceasefire: Iran
President Donald Trump claimed late Monday night that both the warring countries approached him and talked about ceasefire. Just hours after announcing the ceasefire agreement, Trump said in a post on Truth Social, “Israel and Iran came to me almost simultaneously and said, ‘Peace!’ I knew the time had come now. The world and the Middle East are the real winners! Both nations will see tremendous love, peace and prosperity in their future.” He said.
He further said, they have much to gain and yet, they have much to lose if they stray from the path of righteousness and truth. The future of Israel and Iran is unlimited and full of great promises. God bless you both!”
As per a report by CNN, Donald Trump and US security officials have worked silently in the background for a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, just hours after Iran launched a missile attack on a US base in Qatar.
Following Iran’s retaliatory attack on an American base in Iraq, Iranian state media announced a cessation of hostilities, while Donald Trump declared a ceasefire.
Tehran said that its missile attacks have forced America and Israel to agree to a ceasefire. An anchor of Iran National News Network, during a live broadcast, stated, “the successful missile operation of Sepah (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) in response to the US aggression and the strength and unity of our beloved people in defending our land have imposed a ceasefire on the enemy.”
However, the news anchor did not talk about when the ceasefire would come into effect. The Iranian anchor further said that Donald Trump had requested a ceasefire between both countries “in a begging manner” immediately after Iran’s attacks on the US Al Udeid base in Qatar.
