School Holiday: Due to severe heat in Kashmir, the education department has extended the school holidays. Now schools will open in July. School Holiday: Schools have opened in many states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar from June 15, but in many states like Delhi, UP, schools will open from July 1. Meanwhile, due to severe heat, schools will remain closed in Kashmir till the first week of July.

All government and recognized private schools up to higher secondary level operating in Kashmir division will remain closed till July 7. School timings in Srinagar Municipality boundary areas will be from 8 am to 1 pm and in case of schools outside Srinagar Municipality boundary, schools will work from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Schools will remain closed till June 30 in these states

Summer vacation will remain in UP council schools till June 30. These schools will open from July 1. This order will apply to schools under the control of Basic Education Council and recognized schools.

Summer vacation in Delhi schools is going on from May 11 and will end on June 30. However, teachers will have to report to schools from June 28. Similarly, all private and government schools will remain closed till June 30 in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan.
