Navi Mumbai News: Kharghar Under Darkness For 18 Hours Due To Power Outage; Residents Face Difficulties

Navi Mumbai: Residents of Kharghar faced difficulties due to a power cut from 4 PM on Tuesday until 10 AM on Wednesday. The power cut lasted for around 18 hours. A resident who lives near Central Park said, “The lights have been going off for about 40 minutes every day for the past few days.”

Many areas from Sector 12 to Sector 30 and 36 in Kharghar were affected. The power line that supplies electricity to these parts broke down and even caught fire. Because of this, people had to spend the whole Tuesday night without power, which affected their daily life and work.

Another Kharghar resident mentioned, "My daily routine has been affected due to the power cut. I faced a lot of issues while trying to make dinner, and it has also affected the children. This issue has been ongoing for the past 3-4 days continuously. From what I understand, the power cut occurred due to a short circuit."
