Football Transfer News: Arsenal Submit Whopping €11m Bid For Mid-Fielder Christian Norgard, Claims Report

Renowned English football club Arsenal has submitted a massive amount of €11m bid to acquire Danish footballer or mid-fielder Christian Norgard. The reports of signing Norgard comes as uncertainty surrounds regarding Thomas Partey's stay in the club. According to transfer rumours, Partey looks set to leave Arsenal and play as a free agent.

Arsenal are inevitably keen to strengthen their mid-field options, thereby identifying Norgard as a potential option for the same. While Partey's stay with the club remains highly uncertain, Jorginho has officially left the club.

As per The Athletic, Arsenal are exploring a contract for Norgaard and are also waiting for a response from Brentford where the 31-year-old has two years left on his current contract. Moreover, Arsenal are also on the verge of recruiting Martin Zubimendi and the deal is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Zubimendi is expected to take over as their leader of the mid-fielders' department.

Christian Norgaard has been part of Brentford since 2019

Norgard, 31, has been part of Brentford since 2019 and helped them win promotion to the premier league by assisting Thomas Frank.

Frank notably succeeded Ange Postecoglou as the manager of Tottenham. Hence, the two could come up with one another in the north London derby if Arsenal completes or finalises Norgard's transfer.
