The Election Commission of India has said in a statement that this new system will track every step in real time from the preparation of EPIC by the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) to delivering it to the voter through the Department of Posts (DOP). Not only this, voters will get notification of every step through DoP in the form of SMS. This will give them all the updates of the status of EPICs.

How to track your application for ID card

  • If you have applied, go to NVPS to know its status.
  • Log in with your account. Then you have to go to Track Application Status on the right side.
  • You have to enter your reference number. You will get it after filling Form 6 and 6A.
  • Select your state and click on the submit button.

  • First of all you have to go to NVPS. Or you can also go directly to the portal by clicking here.
  • After this you have to log in with your mobile number and email ID. Also, you have to enter the captcha code.

  • After this you have to log in by entering your details. Then you have to enter the captcha code and OTP.
