WWE star Chelsea Green shared details about her 2021 release. She even asked for an early release to join the independent circuit sooner. Her husband, Matt Cardona, warned her about the firing beforehand. Green returned to WWE in 2023. She then became the inaugural Women's U.S. Champion in December 2024. Currently, she leads The Green Regime on SmackDown.
