Nothing Phone 3 Will Sport 50-Megapixel Periscope Rear Camera, Company Confirms Ahead Of Launch
Nothing Phone 3 is all set to go official in a few day and teasers have started to pick up pace. The latest one confirms that the phone will have a 50-megapixel periscope lens. With the tagline ‘Built for creators’, the company confirms that the smartphone will have a solid camera that will capture good quality photos and videos.
The teaser shared on social media site X gives us a little glimpse at the back panel design of the Nothing Phone 3. The company is known for its unique back panel designs and the upcoming smartphone looks to take that trend one step forward. The Nothing Phone 3 is all confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.
The periscope lens suggests that the Nothing Phone 3 will have optimal zooming capabilities to shoot quality videos from afar. Apart from the 50-megapixel telephoto lens, the Nothing Phone 3 is likely to have two more sensors. Past leaks suggest that there may be a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 50-megapixel selfie sensor as well.
The global unveil event will be live streamed on YouTube on July 1 at 6pm BST (10:30pm IST). Nothing Phone 3 will go on sale on Flipkart in India. Tipped specifications include a 5,000mAh battery. Nothing Phone 3 is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5k OLED LTPO display. It is tipped to run on Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15 and support NFC as well.
The price of the Nothing Phone 3 may be somewhere around Rs. 90,000 in India and it is likely to compete with flagship phones of Samsung and Apple in the smartphone market.
