'Mansik Astirtha': Sudhanshu Pandey SLAMS Ram Kapoor For Sexually-Inappropriate Comments, Calls Him 'Mentally Unstable'

Actor-singer Sudhanshu Pandey lashed out at actor Ram Kapoor after the latter was accused of making sexually-inappropriate comments on members of the marketing team of his show, Mistry. The Anupamaa actor stated that one has to be "mentally unstable" to make pass such remarks.

"Ram is ruining his own reputation if he has made such comments," Sudhanshu told FilmiBeat. He went on to say, "I feel that one has to be mentally unstable to make comments like this, especially if you’re commenting about a woman who is in your close proximity. This is a sign of mental imbalance. A decent person should be respectful towards others, especially women."

Sudhanshu also apologised to all the women for Ram's behaviour. "It’s very wrong, and if Ram has done something like this, I apologise on behalf of my fraternity," he said.

What did Ram Kapoor say?

During the promotions of Mistry, Ram was accused of making sexual comments about members of the marketing team of Jio Hotstar, including commenting on a woman's dress. He reportedly also said that he felt "gangraped" after doing back-to-back interviews and promotional events.

The actor was then dropped from the promotions of Mistry, post which he admitted his mistake in an interview, saying, "I am guilty as charged". However, the actor added that he was his "bindass self" as he was comfortable around his colleagues, and that he did not have any ill intentions.

'Accept my justification': Ram Kapoor

"If I felt it was inappropriate, why would I say it openly in a hall full of media people? My character has been questioned for the first time in 25 years, so do acknowledge my justification," he told ETimes.

He also promised to apologise to each one personally if they felt offended by his comments.
