Following his exploits for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, Vaibhav Suryavanshi flexed his big-hitting skills for India Youth against England on June 27 at the County Ground in Hove. Opening the innings, the left-handed batter hammered 48 off only 19 deliveries and seemingly sent one of the deliveries out of the stadium.
Along with Ayush Mhatre, who also set IPL 2025 alight, Suryavanshi broke the back of the run-chase of 175 with a 71-run opening stand only in 7.4 overs. Suryavanshi, 14, clobbered three fours and five sixes in his 19-ball knock before falling to Ralphie Albert in the eighth over of the innings. India needed only 24 overs to chase down and did it with six wickets to spare.

"It's a new tournament and a new game. I am going to the UK for the first time. It will be a new experience for me. I will get to know about the game and the grounds there. Our captain, Ayush Matre, has played for CSK this time. The preparation is going very well. I will get a good experience of playing in England. We will try to win a trophy from there as well. Playing in the IPL is like a dream for everyone. It was my first season and I got a lot of positive things from it."
