RCB Pacer Yash Dayal Accused Of Sexual Harassment, FIR Registered In UP: Reports
Indian cricketer and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal has been accused of sexual harassment, mental and physical assault by a woman in Uttar Pradesh. The case has taken a serious turn with an FIR officially registered against Dayal, and a formal complaint has also been submitted to the office of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, as the woman sought help from higher authorities after her plea went unheard locally.
According to the FIR, the woman claimed she had been in a five-year-long relationship with Yash Dayal and had even met his family during that time. She alleged that Dayal mentally, financially, and physically exploited her over the course of their relationship. The situation escalated when she discovered his “true intentions,” which led to what she describes as a physical assault by the cricketer.
The complainant further stated that she later found out Dayal was involved in similar misleading relationships with other women, and this prompted her to take legal action. She initially tried to report the incident by calling the women's helpline (181) on June 14, 2025, but the process did not advance at the local police station.
Feeling helpless financially and socially, the woman directly approached the Chief Minister’s office for justice. She has submitted chats, screenshots, and video calls as evidence to support her claims. She has urged the authorities to take swift action and ensure the accused is punished under the law.
As of now, Yash Dayal has not released any public statement in response to the allegations. The matter is under police investigation, and further developments are expected in the coming days.
This remains a developing story, and more updates will follow as the case progresses.
'I Want To Make You A Bollywood Hero': Shikhar Dhawan Recalls His Hilarious First Interaction With MS Dhoni
Former Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan recently shared a funny and heartwarming story about his first meeting with MS Dhoni back in 2010. In his new book, 'The One: Cricket, My Life and More', Dhawan reveals that when he first met Dhoni after getting selected for Team India, he was a bit nervous but excited too. Trying to make a fun first impression, Dhawan told Dhoni, "I want to play for India, and I want to make you a Bollywood hero!"
Dhoni, known for his cool nature and sense of humor, laughed out loud at Dhawan’s comment. That one moment helped Dhawan relax, and it also showed the friendly and easygoing nature of the Indian team at that time.
Dhawan also mentioned that during those days, players were not under as much pressure from social media. It was easier to be yourself, joke around, and build close friendships in the team.
Though Dhawan didn’t perform well in his debut match, this funny memory with Dhoni stayed close to his heart. It showed how welcoming and supportive Dhoni was as a captain.
This story reminds fans that behind the serious matches and big crowds, the Indian team also shares fun, friendship, and laughter, making cricket even more special.
