Bollywood actress Daisy Shah has come a long way in her career. She has inspired many with her journey in the entertainment industry. Due to her talent and acting prowess, she has carved her own place and became a well-known personality in the showbiz. However, not many know that before venturing into acting, she was an assistant choreographer to Ganesh Acharya in films like Zameen and Khakee. In her initial days, she appeared as a background dancer in films like Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Tere Naam, Race and others.

Daisy was always passionate about dancing, but later developed interest in acting and modelling too. She starred in several print ads, and did many photoshoots for popular brands. According to reports, she was about to make her acting debut in 2010 with the Kannada film Chingari but was later replaced by Deepika Kamaiah.

Daisy finally made her film debut opposite Salman Khan in Jai Ho (2014), and rose to overnight success following the release. She then starred in various Bollywood films like Hate Story, alongside Karan Singh Grover, and later was part of Salman Khan-starrer Race 3. Daisy even participated in Rohit Shetty-led hit reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, and impressed fans with her daredevil personality.

In 2011, Daisy did her first Kannada film, Bhadra. She even appeared in a special dance number by Neeli Lugadi for Khuda Kasam. Despite marking her acting debut opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the actress later appeared in very few handful films.

When asked Daisy whether she was disappointed that she didn’t get much film offers as she might have expected, the actress told Indian Express, “Sochne se sab kuch ho jata to har aadmi aaj Ambani hota (If we could have everything we wanted, everyone would be Ambani). Honestly, I work to please myself and not others. I am happy with what I am doing in life.”

Meanwhile, Daisy’s last film was Mystery of The Tatoo which released on September 1, 2023. She also marked her OTT debut with the web series Red Room.
