Ladakh Administration Announces Age Relaxation For Group A & B Gazetted Posts

LEH, Jul 1: Ladakh Administration has approved fresh age relaxation measures for direct recruitment to Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Gazetted posts.
As per the official order, Reserved Categories under the Ladakh Reservation (Amendment) Rules, 2025 will now benefit from age relaxations in line with DoPT guidelines.
In addition, a five-year upper age relaxation has been granted to residents of Areas Adjoining the Line of Control (ALC), despite them not being covered under central DoPT norms.
Furthermore, in view of delays in recruitment since Ladakh’s formation in October 2019, a one-time special relaxation of five years will be given to all eligible candidates for recruitments held in 2025 and 2026.
